ARDEO PREMIER

Eddie joined us as a recently broken 4 year old.  We have generously been allowed the freedom to slowly produced him through his early years by his owners Neill and Debbie Nuttall.  Eddie has run under the radar steadily improving.  He was physically weak as baby but has an abundance of athleticism.  You have to be so careful with horses like this that you don’t over exert them before their bodies are capable as this can lead to early injuries and jeopardise their careers.

At 7 years old, Eddie has comfortably stepped up to Intermediate level.  He was top 10 in his first Intermediate and finished top 10 in his debut at a very competitive 3* International.

He has such a genuine, relaxed character and can often be found snoring in his stable with his head buried in the banks of the bed, but when he needs to he turns on the magic.

Eddie put in a magnificent performance at Mondial du Lion in the 2020 young horse world championship, finishing 4th in the 7 year old class.  He’s a class act!

Eddie has followed this early success with good performances at 4*.  He now feels established at this level which was evident at Millstreet this year where he completed with a double clear in his first 4* long format, finishing 14th.
